Bright Spark

Guzmania plants thrive in bright, indirect light. They can tolerate some direct sunlight, especially in the morning, but too much harsh sun can damage their colorful bracts.

Water the central cup of the plant and keep it moist without allowing it to sit in water. Change the water every couple of weeks to prevent stagnation, and let the potting mix dry out slightly between waterings.

Guzmania enjoys humidity, so misting it regularly or placing it in a humid environment will keep it happy. Trim any dead or faded leaves to maintain its vibrant look, and provide good air circulation around the plant.
